Our History
How We Came To Be
In March 2020, everyone’s life changed due to the pandemic. It had a significant impact on everyone, and some of us started seeing ourselves in a different light. This was especially true for those who had never taken the time to reflect on themselves before.
During the lockdown, many of us had an awakening. We rediscovered ourselves and our relationships. We started connecting with each other through video conferencing platforms like Zoom, and something wonderful happened. We discovered a new kind of beauty in ourselves.
On Zoom, some of us discovered or reconnected with one another and became an online church at that time. Many of us met each other for the first time.

Why We Are Here
We love immigrants and refugees. We celebrate Queer lives and hold space for persons with disabilities, including the neurodivergent. We respect the thought of liberationists from around the world, particularly in Latin America. We pay attention to voices represented in the historic Black Church experience.
We exist to foster wholeness and equity by healing relationships and cultural divides, honoring the dignity of all peoples, and protecting the biodiversity of our planet, through actively listening, understanding, partnering, and serving.

Our worship services are vibrant, uplifting, and designed to bring people closer to God. With a blend of contemporary and traditional elements, our worship experiences cater to people of all ages and backgrounds. We encourage active participation, as we believe that everyone has a unique gift to share with the community. Whether you are a lifelong believer or just starting to explore your faith, you will find a place to belong and grow at New Covenant Worship Center.
